Clomid (clomiphene) is a medicine available by prescription used to induce ovulation in females diagnosed with infertility. It is prescribed for women that did not respond well to other treatment methods. If you are currently taking any other medicines or are receiving treatment for infertility your doctor needs to know about it before prescribing the drug. Report any medical conditions you have or used to have, including ovarian cysts, liver disease, uterine fibroids, thyroid disease, abnormal vaginal bleeding or other problems with reproductive system. Some of these conditions may require your health care provider to adjust your dosage.
